I haven't ever spent more than maybe $35 or so on a pair of in-ear headphones before. But when my iPod headphones bit the dust, I decided to see what was out there. These are magnificent headphones. The audio quality is easily the best I've heard out of all of the in-ear headphones I've ever had. Bass is clear and strong, and the high end is not tinny or distorted like on some lower end headphones. Even with the volume high, the clarity is amazing. I am really very impressed with this Sony MDR-EX30 earphones!! The sound quality is just amazing for such a low price!! In fact, I never expected such a sound quality is possible from a $50 pair!! Even comparing to my beloved, one year old, Sony EX500LP, which cost me around $150 form Amazon, the MDR-EX30 actually sounds better with more balanced highs, and mids, and deeper bass as well. I know it may sound crazy, so believe it or not; this Sony MDR-EX30 sounds similar, if not better than my five years old, $550 Shure SE500!!! And they also sound way way better than my $150 Beats headphones!!! How could this be possible? Well done Sony... well done. I highly recommend this earphones, and it's worth every cent ... |
