This review is from: Sony MDR-EX35LP/VB EX Style Headphones with Deep Bass Sound (Violet/Blue) (Electronics) These sony earbuds provide a great balance of loud and clear bass and crystal clear mids and highs. great for any type of music, (personally I use them quite a bit for electronic music/basic audio production. I believe these sonys deliver much better sound than any of the skullcandy buds, even the ones priced up into the $30-$40 range. The only issue I seem to have with them is the structural quality; on average they seem to only last about 8-10 months before one of the buds stops providing sound. TAKE NOTE: YOU MUST TREAT THESE EARPHONES GENTLY IF YOU WANT THEM TO LAST LONGER. ALSO, THE RUBBER INSERTS ARE NOTORIOUS FOR FALLING OFF IN PANTS POCKETS. Otherwise, for this price, the sound quality cannot be beat. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. I wanted something lightweight and unobstructive and not too expensive. SONY, once more, delivered a good product at a fair price. Checking out AMAZON reviews I was on the fence for either these (in black) or the Sennheiser CX300-B. There is a concerning number of reviews on the SENNHEISER complaining about either low material durability and/or interference noises form the cables touching either clothes or surfaces. Since, in my case, the main cable was going to be in constant contact with my desk I decided not to risk it. And did not regret it for a moment. The SONYs come with three sizes of hardened silicone ear-cones (medium is the one pre-installed) and they work fine in reducing external noise. You will be able to...
