| 60 of 61 people found the following review helpful:  wouldn't be without it, Amazon Verified Purchase i originally purchased the bigger headset model (the one that looks like earmuffs). my husband is hard of hearing and he was totally pleased with that one for about a year. then he asked me to see if there was a model that would be a little lighter and less bulky, so i found this one. he uses it every single night and loves it and i love not having to listen to his tv turned up full volume. it's a win-win situation. this one hangs on his ears and rests below his chin so he can fall asleep without the hassle of big earphones. anyone thinking of purchasing this product-do it. you won't be sorry. purchase a spare battery too. you can put it in the stand and it will be ready with a full charge should you need it. 33 of 33 people found the following review helpful: Satisfied with my purchase, By Amazon Verified Purchase I recently purchased the Sennheiser Wireless Headphone set for TV listening at bedtime and am very satisfied with my choice. In order to not disturb other folks in my household I shopped on Amazon for private listening devices that suited my needs. Cheaper versions I'm sure are quite adequate but I chose the Sennheiser primarily for one reason, its base/transmitter unit plugs into a wall outlet and does not operate by battery. The cheaper versions did so that meant that after you were finished viewing, if you didn't get up and turn it off, your batteries would run out quite quickly. After I'm done, I just turn the headset off, put it aside and turn over and snuggle down to sleep...no getting up to turn off the transmitter. The next morning, I simply return the headset to the transmitter and the red charger light goes on. It works just fine within its limitations. I have a high end hearing loss and I need a more professional system that has eq adjustments to account for my hearing limitations. This system reproduces the sounds and voices well but the sound comes out too heavy on the bass for my hearing and much of the time the talking I heard was garbled due to the lack of eq.
